Renting

All of our rentals are brand new. Sometimes we have gently used instruments at a reduced price. Renting an instrument gives your child the opportunity to try an instrument without you having to make a large financial investment. You can return the instrument at any time without owing any additional money. Renting also gives you the peace of mind knowing that all routine maintenance will be provided for free for as long as you are renting the instrument. It is suggested that renters take the Fire/Theft/Damage insurance. This insurance provides for free repair or replacement of the instrument in the case of fire damage, theft or loss, and for accidental damage (for things like dropping it).

Buying

If you choose to purchase an instrument outright during your rental contract, you will need to come to our shop in Wayland for any necessary repairs. All new (non-rental) instrument purchases come with a 2 year "bumper to bumper" warranty that covers cracks, springs, corks, and pads. Our used (non-rental) instrument purchases come with the same warranty for 1 year.
