Is there a deposit required when renting an instrument?

There is no deposit required. The contract is month to month.

Is this a rent-to-own program?

Yes; 100% of the rental fee that you pay goes towards the purchase price of the instrument.

How do I get my instrument?

If you child attends one of the qualifying school districts (see below) we can deliver their instrument directly to the school on the instrument pick-up night. If you rent your instrument after that date, we can still deliver the instrument to the school. Otherwise, please call or e-mail us to set up a time to pick-up the instrument here at our shop in Wayland.

Will I owe any money when I return the instrument?

No additional money will be owed.

How do I return the instrument?

Just call or e-mail us and we will make arrangements to pick up your instrument at your child's school (in qualifying school districts).

What is a qualifying school district?

Any school system that is listed on our website under "RENT ONLINE": Austin Prep, Bedford, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Concord, Dover, Fenn, Fessenden, Hudson, Lexington, Lincoln, Meadowbrook, Natick, Newton, Newton Country Day, Sherborn, Sudbury, Waldorf, Wayland, Wellesley, Westgate Christian Academy

When will the instrument be mine?

Each contract has a certain number of months that will pay off the instrument. Once you have paid through the number of months listed on your contract, the instrument is yours. 

What if I want to buy the instrument early?

We offer a 25% discount for early buy-out on the remaining balance at any time during the contract. Just call or e-mail us to find out what your buyout price would be.

What if my instrument isn't working properly?

Please call or e-mail us and we will come directly to your school (for all qualifying schools) within 48 hours with our mobile repair van and fix the instrument on site. If the instrument must be brought back to our shop to be repaired properly, we will leave a loaner instrument for you. Otherwise, please call or e-mail us to schedule an appointment to have your instrument brought to our shop here in Wayland.
